BIOCORROSION AS NA ETIOLOGICAL FACTOR OF NON-CARIOUS LESIONS: A LITERATURE REVIEW

Aim: The present study aimed to carry out a literature review about biocorrosion as an etiological factor of non-carious lesions and dentin hypersensitivity. Method: bibliographic search was performed in the PubMed Virtual Health Library (VHL)databases, selecting articles published from 2015 2020, available full text, Portuguese English, related proposed theme. Results: In studies included, it observed that substances with low pH, high titratable acidity, some lifestyles, occupational habits are factors can directly interfere dental demineralization. As consequence this process, hypersensitivity have increased their incidence. Conclusion: main sources acids attack structure food beverages endogenous gastric content.
